GetResponse.com vs. Aweber.com

Overview:

One of the best ways to monetize your website is to create a list of subscribers you can market your product/service.  One of the most popular tools online businesses use to communicate with their subscribers is via an autoresponder.  An autoresponder is an email management system which allows you to not only capture email addresses of your customers, but also allows you to compose email messages that can be sent out to your customers at regular intervals.  The purpose of this article is to share with you two of the most popular autoresponders on the market, GetResponse, and AWeber, to help you determine which autoresponder program meets your business and budget needs.

AWeber.com Review - Pros and Cons

Pros:
  • Easy setup.
  • Completely web-based
  • Easy to edit your messages
  • Sends messages on a pre-set schedule
  • Emails are individualized with customer names
  • Free customer service
  • Provides 30 day money back guarantee
  • Customer list for up to 10,000 for $19.95 month
  • Excellent tech support
Cons:
  • No free trial version
Conclusion:
While GetResponse and AWeber both share many of the same features, AWeber holds the advantage in price.  A customer list of up to 10,000 subscribers is $19.95 per month with AWeber and $53.30 per month with GetResponse.  While GetResponse has a free version, you are limited with how many follow-up messages you can send to your list.  I use AWeber for my autoresponder service and find it easy to use, tech service very friendly, and the price meets my budget.
